Mission Statement:
"At No Stress Midwest we are creating a holistic approach to developing the youth student athlete in a no stress environment while also offering a unique and specialized experience tailored to the individual, athlete, or team."
We are a business created to cater to developing both the student and the athlete to succeed both on and off the field. Our academy is comprised of our training, tutoring and scholarship foundation. We also offer a podcast service and clothing apparel for you to stay connected and support the brand.
Our training offers a unique approach to developing the technical abilities of athletes specializing within the youth/amateur levels. It is unfair the amount of pressure that is put on the youth player between club soccer, high school, getting into college, wanting to have a social life, etc. and in most cases they end up resenting the game and the people that they associate with it.
At No Stress Midwest we show our clients that you can have fun while still getting better! By creating unique training/learning environments customized to the player, we feel that not only are we able to get the most out of the individual by creating a “No Stress” environment, we are also teaching them fundamentals that they can carry off the field and apply in their life.
No Stress Midwest also recognizes that some student athletes need help off the field with academics to fully reach their long-term goals. We now offer an academic tutoring service for athletes and students who are committed to taking their talents to the next level. We offer our same unique, low stress environment for students who are committed to excelling on and off the field.
History/Purpose:
While coaching in KC on both the high school and club level, I noticed that were many more soccer players than coaches. And more importantly, few coaches that offered private training. I also noticed while starting my coaching career after getting my college degree that I was able to easily relate to players and help them break down the game of soccer in a way they could understand. One day, I had a parent ask if I could train her son (who I coached at the club level), and that's when the private training began. In 2018, after becoming the head coach at Blue Valley North High School for boys and girls varsity I was also informed that my contract would not be renewed as an engineer and I was faced with a major crossroad in my life. Instead of going back to Corporate America, I decided to pursue my love of the game and coaching and launched No Stress Midwest with 7 clients.
